Re: [Handle-info] Loading Handle source code in Eclipse

Hi Robert,

Thanks. I will wait for HSv8 then and perhaps touch some lines writing
to System.err only, which cause timestamp-less lines. If you could
provide a beta, that would be nice. DANS has signed the HSSA.

From the license text I understand that I can use and distribute my
adjustments, provided the notices and links are kept intact. I will
discuss using the changes in our production environment with my
colleagues before doing it, but I don't feel like signing away copyright
(oh, I just realised it's Open Access Week). :)

I look forward to looking at the beta (if possible).

Ben

If you are willing to do that, CNRI probably would, but I would have to discuss with our lawyer of course. More importantly, there have been substantial changes to the code since 7.3.1, and it is quite possible that extensive patches based on 7.3.1 will be too much work for us to integrate.

If you are very interested on working on this before then, and if you have signed the Handle System Service Agreement (required to run a handle server for public resolution), then I could investigate whether we can get you a beta. Let me know.
