[Handle-info] Hedgehog: Handle server Hibernate-based RDBMS backend

CNRI has kindly made available to the handle community at large a storage layer package we've developed at the University of Wisconsin - Madison:

"Hedgehog is an RDBMS storage implementation for CNRI's handle server,  developed by the University of Wisconsin. It uses the Hibernate persistent object storage toolkit, and can be used with any Hibernate-supported JDBC-compliant backend database."
 
This package is the product of a joint development effort between the University of Wisconsin Digital Collections Center (UWDCC) and the University of Wisconsin - Madison Division of Information Technology (DoIT).  The software has been running in our production handle server since last April, and currently manages approximately 6 million handles.

The README file included in the package contains both a description and installation instructions.  Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments concerning the software.
