[Handle-info] New version 2.1.1 of CNRI Handle Extension for Firefox

CNRI announces an updated version of the CNRI Handle Extension for  
Firefox, available at http://www.handle.net/hs-tools/extensions/firefox_hdlclient.html

We believe that this version will provide considerably better results  
for users behind firewalls.  The extension detects in the background  
which methods of native Handle resolution are available.  If fast  
native resolution is not available, the extension falls back to web-to- 
handle proxy resolution.  In virtually all situations this should  
occur with no noticeable delay.

We are very interested in hearing reports on this update.

The CNRI Handle Extension for Firefox is also available as an  
"experimental" extension at the central site for Firefox add-ons:

In order to make the extension "public" rather than "experimental" at  
that site, their editors need to see user reviews.  Please consider  
posting a short review, either at addons.mozilla.org, directly on this  
mailing list, or at any public site---just let us know where.

Finally, we are definitely looking to include even more useful tools  
for the end user in future versions of the extension.  Please feel  
welcome to send feature suggestions to this list or directly to me.
