Yeah, I'm always bumping my head on this one. Always wanting to use the
empty URI "<>" as meaning "this resource". From the RDF/XML Syntax [1] we
have this:
"Both forms [rdf:ID and rdf:about] require a base URI to be known,
either from an in-scope xml:base or from the URI of the RDF/XML document."
Not sure that the Concepts and Abstract Syntax doc [2] says much, if
anything, about empty URI references but could be wrong.
Yeah, need to get the story right or to make the URI explicit. Good point.

Agree (as earlier) that JSON would be handy. But note also that XUL is well
capable of handling RDF/XML datasources.
But yes, more is more. :)
