Re: [Handle-info] build in database via external for handle server
We have been using an Oracle database for about 2 years. It has worked
well, no response time problems. It does give us an alternate view of
the data, directly from the db, that is useful. The only problem that we
have had is that the Handleserver does not recycle db connections if
they are bad, so if the db comes down the Handleserver needs to be
restarted when it comes up again. We converted our data from the
Handleserver data store using a utility that CNRI wrote for us.

Hello,
would like to ask if there are any recommendations or considerations
regarding the usage of an external RDBMS in comparison to the internal
one.
How easy or difficult would it be to change later?
Thanks!
Regards, Konstantin
